Frequently Asked Questions

What's the most common N-up layout?
2-up (two pages side by side) is most common for reading materials. 4-up is popular for handouts and reference sheets. 9-up works well for thumbnail overviews.
Will text still be readable?
It depends on the layout and original page size. 2-up on A4/Letter is very readable. 4-up is good for normal text. 9-up works for visual overviews but small text may be hard to read.
Can I choose the page order?
Pages are arranged in reading order (left to right, top to bottom) by default. The grid fills sequentially through the document.
Does it add borders or gaps between pages?
Pages are arranged with proportional spacing in the grid. Each page is scaled to fit its cell while maintaining aspect ratio.
