Cookie Policy

What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device when you visit them. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to site owners. Cookies are stored in your browser and can be read on subsequent visits to identify you or remember your preferences.
Cookies we use
OneClickPDF uses a minimal number of cookies, all related to anonymous analytics. We do not use advertising, marketing, or tracking cookies of any kind.
| Cookie | Provider | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | First-party | 2 years | Assigns a randomly generated ID to distinguish unique visitors. Does not contain personal information. |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | First-party | 2 years | Stores session data such as page views and tool interactions. The suffix matches our measurement ID (e.g., _ga_66QCKRN65F). |
Consent
Cookies are only set after you give explicit consent via our cookie banner. If you decline, no cookies are set at all and no analytics scripts are loaded. Your choice is respected immediately — we do not use "soft opt-in" or pre-checked boxes. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage, which will reset your consent choice and show the cookie banner again on your next visit.
Local storage
In addition to cookies, we use your browser's localStorage to persist certain preferences and data. localStorage is not a cookie — it is not sent to any server with your requests. All localStorage data stays entirely on your device.
ocpdf_cookie_consent— Stores your cookie preference ("granted" or "denied"). Used to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies.ocpdf_visited— Records whether you have visited the site before. Used for anonymous return-visit analytics (only when consent is granted).- Saved signatures (Sign PDF tool) — If you choose to save a signature or initials, they are stored in localStorage on your device. They are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Third-party cookies
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or any third-party cookies. The only cookies set on OneClickPDF are the Google Analytics cookies listed above, which are first-party cookies (set under our own domain, not Google's). No data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or social media platforms.
Managing cookies
You can delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view and delete individual cookies, block cookies from specific sites, or block all cookies entirely. Here are links to cookie management instructions for common browsers:
Note that clearing your browser's localStorage will also reset your cookie consent preference, and you will see the cookie banner again on your next visit. Saved signatures and other local preferences will also be removed.
Change your preference
You can change your cookie preference at any time. Clicking the button below will reset your choice and show the cookie consent banner again on your next page load.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
