Create a QR Code to Share Your WiFi Password

Last updated: February 24, 2026

Guests arrive, ask for the WiFi password, you spell out 'xK9#mP2$vL4@nQ7&' letter by letter, they type it wrong twice, and everyone's frustrated. A WiFi QR code solves this — guests scan it with their phone camera and connect instantly. OneClickPDF generates these QR codes in your browser, so your WiFi credentials never touch any server.

The Problem

You want guests, customers, or visitors to easily connect to your WiFi without manually typing a complex password. You need a QR code that encodes your network credentials — but you don't want to type your WiFi password into a random website's server.

How It Works

1

Open the QR Code Generator

Go to OneClickPDF's QR Code Generator.

2

Select WiFi content type

Choose the WiFi tab. Enter your network name (SSID), password, and encryption type (WPA is most common).

3

Customize the look

Optionally change colors to match your brand, add your logo, or choose a distinctive dot style. The QR code works regardless of styling.

4

Download and display

Download as PNG or PDF. Print it and display near your entrance, on the table, or frame it on the wall. Guests scan with their phone camera and connect instantly.

QR Code Generator

Generate QR codes for URLs, text, or contact info as PNG or SVG.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this work with both iPhone and Android?
Yes. Both iOS and Android have built-in QR code scanners in their camera apps that recognize WiFi QR codes and offer to connect automatically.
Is my WiFi password secure in the QR code?
The password is encoded in the QR code data itself — it's not encrypted within the QR. Anyone who can scan the QR can see the password. Treat the printed QR code like you would a written password. The key difference: your password is never sent to any server during QR generation.
What if I change my WiFi password?
You'll need to generate a new QR code with the updated password. The old QR code will still try to connect with the old password and will fail.
Can I use WEP or open networks?
Yes. The tool supports WPA (most common), WEP, and open (no password) networks. Select the encryption type that matches your router's settings.

A WiFi QR code is the modern way to share network access. No more spelling out passwords or writing them on sticky notes. Your WiFi credentials are encoded directly in the QR code — generated in your browser, never sent to any server.
